Do you want to be the kind of friend who makes a positive impact on your friend’s kids? As moms, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day shuffle, but being there for our friends and their children can create a bond that goes beyond a typical friendship. Showing up for each other’s kids is a meaningful way to deepen those friendships, creating a supportive “village” for our families. And you don’t need to make grand gestures or be a super-parent for this to make a difference—it’s often the little things that kids (and their parents) remember most. In Part 4 of my "How to Be a Good Friend" series, we’re going to explore simple, thoughtful ways to support your friend’s kids. From showing up at their events to sending a quick message on a tough day, these small acts of kindness help her children feel cared for—and let your friend know she's not in this alone. So if you’re ready to strengthen those bonds and be the friend who truly shows up, here are 12 easy ideas to get you started. If this episode blessed you, leave a review! Do you ever feel like your home is overflowing with stuff? Like no matter how much you declutter, there’s always more creeping in, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and weighed down by all the things? And what about that constant fear of letting go—just in case you might need something later? If you struggle with holding onto things, feeling like you need to keep everything for the future, you’re not alone. But here’s the thing: trusting God with our stuff can free us from that constant worry. In today’s episode, we’re diving into the story of the Israelites in the wilderness, when God provided manna—just enough for each day—and what it teaches us about trusting Him with our needs. We’ll talk about how holding onto too much is a sign that we’re not trusting God to provide for us in the future and how we can begin to release that fear. Join me as we unpack how this story applies to our homes, our clutter, and how we can let go, trusting that God will give us exactly what we need, right when we need it. Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom Have you ever felt that whisper in the back of your mind while you’re decluttering, telling you that what you're getting rid of is good stuff that you could make money off of? We've all been there, caught between the idea of making some extra cash and the desire to just get rid of the stuff that’s taking over our space. It's a tough call, especially when time and energy are already stretched thin. But let's face it, selling things can feel like another full-time job. Photos, listings, messages, meet-ups – it can quickly become overwhelming. And no one wants to pay what you think the item is worth, right? Plus, the time you spend trying to sell each item can add up quickly, leaving you feeling drained and still surrounded by clutter. When you're an ADHD mom, every minute counts. You need to weigh whether the effort to sell your stuff is worth the potential reward or if it’s better to donate and move on. It’s easy to get caught up in the dream of making a little extra money, but the reality is that selling can be a time-consuming and often frustrating process. Imagine the relief of clearing out a whole room in a single afternoon because you decided to donate instead. No haggling, no waiting for buyers to show up – just a cleaner, more peaceful space. It’s tempting to think of the potential earnings, but sometimes the biggest payoff is the peace of mind and the extra time you get back for yourself and your family. In today's episode, my client, Angela, shares her honest experience of trying to make some money from her decluttered items. It was a hard pill to swallow, but she realized she just needed to let the items go and gain back her time instead of her money. Join us as she shares her experience. Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom How many photos do you have on your phone right now? 5,000? 20,000? 100,000? Digital photos have a way of adding up because they're so easy to snap on the go. When we run out of storage on our phone, we end up having to increase our cloud storage costing us hundreds of dollars per year. A couple of years ago I created a system for photo organization, and I've been able to share this system with my private clients as well as students inside The Accountability Club. On today's episode, my student, Rachele, who is a mom living in a neurodivergent home with special needs individuals. Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom Are your evenings a chaotic free-for-all, with kids running around at all hours and you collapsing into bed, exhausted and craving just a moment of peace? Without a consistent bedtime routine, many parents find themselves trapped in this cycle, sacrificing their own well-being and personal time. But what if there was a way to reclaim your evenings while also benefiting your children's development? Establishing a bedtime routine isn't just about getting kids to sleep—it's about creating structure that supports their growth and your sanity. Children thrive on predictability. A consistent bedtime routine helps regulate their internal clocks, leading to better sleep quality and duration. This, in turn, supports their cognitive development, emotional regulation, and physical health. Regular sleep patterns can improve attention spans, boost learning capabilities, and even strengthen immune systems. Moreover, a well-structured bedtime creates opportunities for meaningful connection. Whether it's through reading stories, sharing the day's events, or simply cuddling, these moments become cherished rituals that strengthen your bond. By implementing a bedtime routine, you're not just setting your kids up for a good night's sleep—you're laying the foundation for better behavior, improved academic performance, and overall well-being. And as an added bonus, you might just find yourself with that elusive personal time you've been craving. My student Bethany didn't know how beneficial a bedtime routine could be for her four girls until she joined The Accountability Club. Now she's implementing systems and routines that provide more peace throughout her day as a stay-at-home mom. Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom Is your child's playroom overflowing with toys, making you feel overwhelmed and your little one unable to focus? Many parents face this common challenge, where an abundance of playthings leads to chaos rather than creativity. When children have fewer toys, they tend to engage more deeply with each item, developing concentration and creativity. Moreover, a decluttered space can significantly reduce stress for both parents and kids. My client Gloria had to face some tough truths about her kids' playroom. By having a designated playroom, she realized her children weren't taking ownership of their toys. The playroom had become a dumping ground instead of a place where her children could explore and use their imaginations. She came to the conclusion that it was time to let go of their playroom and move their belongings to their bedrooms. Tune in as Gloria shares her story about decluttering and downsizing her kids' toys and playroom and teaching them how to better care for their toys! If this episode blessed you, leave a review!
